What this site collects

This is a portfolio site. It has no contact form, no newsletter, no login and no shopping basket, so there is nothing here for you to fill in and nothing of yours for me to store.

Two things do happen automatically when you open a page:

  • Page statistics. I use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It does not follow you to other websites and cannot be used to identify you.
  • Server logs. The site is hosted by Vercel, which records the usual technical details of each request — IP address, browser and page requested — for security and reliability. Every web host does this.

Cookies

There are none. Nothing is written to your browser's storage, which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner — there would be nothing to consent to.

Fonts and other files

Typefaces, images and scripts are served from this domain. Nothing is fetched from a third-party CDN, so opening a page does not reveal your visit to anyone but me and my host.

Two exceptions, both only when you act:

  • Links to LinkedIn, the App Store and Google Play connect to those services only after you click them.
  • Where a case study embeds a video it uses YouTube's no-cookie player, which sets no tracking cookies unless you press play.

How long anything is kept

Page statistics are aggregated and retained by Vercel for a limited period; they contain no personal detail. Server logs are short-lived and kept by Vercel under their own retention policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its processing. Given the above there is very little to ask for, but the right stands.
